In Deathly Hallows, I was expecting to hear more about:
1. Blaise Zabini. (What an intriguing character, I wanted to hear more
about him.)
2. Crookshanks and Kneazels.
3. Bowtruckles (something to do with getting extra wands later on).
4. Empowerment of Ron (there is a "Weasley is our King"/Knight to King
theory drifting around).
5. Neville coming into his own.
6. Redemption of Malfoy.

but before epilog?
Ford Angelia- I half expected that car to show up to rescue Harry in
Aragog's lair.
