A simple "hi, Ginny", "bye, Ginny". Mostly because Ginny was terrified about talking to him and Harry not seeing her as someone too important (despited the fact that he was probably fond of her as being his mate's little sister). Eventually, Ginny became most secure about herself and she didn't mind to talk to a Harry who saw her like a sister too while they lived together at the Burrow and Grimmauld Place. Remember that Ginny was who helped Harry in OotP (but I don't remember how!!!: the chocolate episode!)"American Booty" <luckygirl8@xxxxxxxxx> wrote in message news:23638-469696BA-2@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxYou must be reading different books from me.Personally, I don't think Ginny will die. She is such a major part ofMajor part? As I recall, they've exchanged all of 10 sentences in the books, if that. She's been tacked on as surely as Eeyore's tail.
Harry's life that I don't think Rowling would kill her off. But then
again, I always found her character to be stubborn and annoying. I can't
wait fo book 7 to come out!
Then they started dating. They talked: even Harry indicated the spent at least one memorable evening at the lake. And I am sure he didn't only mean the snogging.
Yes, but how much dialogue was in the books? I don't have the books here in front of me, and I haven't read them since each individual release, but I don't recall much dialogue between the two (or words spoken by Ginny in general). You allude to a similar experience with the help given by Ginny in OotP: we remember she was there, but we don't remember what she did (or said). If that's not indicative of a character being tacked on, I don't know what is.
