Huh? I said Fred and George are Evil, not Voldemort is Good.
Voldemort could try to kill Fred and George themselves, and Fred and
George could still be Evil. What is your logic here?

[...] and them having given Harry a map which he could use to find

They were, of course, trying to lure him outside of Hogwarts, so the
Dementors could get him. (The Dementors, on McG's instrucions, have
been trying to kill Harry since the train incident). The plan failed,
because both his Hogsmead visits were prematurely cut short, and the
map was then confiscated by Snape & Lupin. Snape & Lupin, in foiling
Harry's Hogsmead trips and confiscating the map, were trying to
preserve Harry's life (and made this quite explicit).

Ever wonder why the twins kept this map to themselves throughout the
events of CoS?

If they had been motivated by goodness & kindness, they would have
given the map to their little brother, Ron. Harry did not need, at
this point, another supertoy. But, as Lucius says, it is not PRUDENT
to appear less-than fond of Harry Potter.

[...] and
trying (unsuccessfully) to defend him against Dobby's rogue
bludger in CoS

What a bad argument. I'm sure that OJ Simpson once defended a team
member during a game of football, but that hardly adds up to proof
that he did not murder Nicole. You also forget that Riddle wanted
Harry kept alive at this point, that Dobby was trying to save Harry's
life, so that even if the Twins were already recruited at this stage
(unclear) they would have behaved exactly as they did.

Just because Harry feels grateful to someone for "helping" him, does
not prove that person is not evil. Surely fake Moody demonstrates
that point.

etc etc etc...

I doubt your "etc"s are any more convincing than what you've thrown at
me so far. Most of their "good deeds", when examined closely, consist
of extremely suspicious behavior.

I think not somehow :D

Well, thanks for going on record with all the "ROFL"s

.
