Hi.
Just wondering how enthusiastic you are about Harry. How many times
have you read each book?
Book 1: 4 or 5 times
Book 2: 4 times
Book 3: 4 times
Book 4: 3 - 4 times
Book 5: 3 times
Book 6: 2 times
Also, when did you first hear about (and start) the series?
******SEEING THE MOVIES DOES NOT COUNT AS STARTING THE SERIES.*******
I generally wait years before even a second reading. Has nothing to do
with enthusiasm. It's just me--I seem to enjoy savoring my first
impression of a book for a rather long while. I've read Books 1 through
4 twice, and Books 5 & 6 once. My method has been to read the book, see
the film, then read the book again, thus I will be re-reading OotP
fairly soon after finishing DH, and will probably not re-read the final
two books until their movies have come out. I will eventually go around
for a third time and likely more, but because there are no many, many
books yet to read, I deliberately don't do re-reads at a high rate.
I first started the series ten years ago, when I happened upon PS/SS
while nosing around a local bookstore. I like children's literature,
and thought it looked charming. And (as they say) the rest is history!
