"They call it the Dementor's Kiss," Mallory read, verbatim, "it's what
dementors do to those they wish to destroy utterly... suck out his
soul.... There's no chance at all of recovery. You'll just -- exist. As
an empty shell. And your soul is gone forever... lost."

That's what she read out in court; oh the horror of your kid reading
this, of course they turn Wicca because of it or kill the first person
they come across. Her kids must be getting so curious about Mom's
crusade that no doubt they'll read the books in secret :-)

Why doesn't she just tell her kids not to read it? What right does she
have to dictate the choices available to other people's kids?

She's a zealot Christian. Everything's her business.

That's the truth!! LOL

As I said, banning Harry Potter is unconstitutional. It violates
Freedom Of Religion.

I think freedom speech is more to the point. However, I believe her
intent is to ban the books from Georgia public schools, which is
rather different from banning books in general, which is certainly
unconstitutional in the U.S. Books are excluded from public school
libraries and reading programs for various reasons.

Not that I'm suggesting Harry Potter should be!!
