Can someone explain what the difference is between both versions?
I have no idea what difference to expect, but will certainly not buy
both books, being an adult..................

The only different is the cover. It seems that the publisher thinks
adults don't want to be seen with a 'kids'book.
pretty much that lol it was more that they were getting alot of aduits
reading them and it seemed that there would hae been a bigger adult marker
if they didn't think that they would have the micky taken out of them for
reading a brightly coloured aparently childrens book lol

I read them at home, but then I have seen many people on airplanes, and
at airports with them. Taking the 'dustcover' off makes them much less
'childish' looking.

I'm 33 and I make *sure* I get the British child edition, dustcover
included! It's really a laugh to see people looking up from their
newspapers, MBA and motivational books to see me reading my brand new
Potter!

(I can't understand people tackling their jobs even on the plane,
isn't the journey dull enough already? I shudder about allowing
mobiles on board ;{ )

I work on a helpdesk on weekends where I get calls from people like
"Yeah, I'm here on vacation, at my beach house, sitting outside [i.e.
on the beach] with my wireless connection, and I'm having problems
checking my e-mail."

(Yeah, you've got problems alright)
