"They call it the Dementor's Kiss," Mallory read, verbatim, "it's what
dementors do to those they wish to destroy utterly... suck out his
soul.... There's no chance at all of recovery. You'll just -- exist. As
an empty shell. And your soul is gone forever... lost."
Sooo...doing what Mallory wants and FORCING students in school to read her
bible where souls will burn in the pits of hell and be tormented for all
eternity for committing some sin (like eating meat on a Friday) is fine, but
kids who CHOOSE to sign out and read a book about a murdering criminal whose
soul is sucked out as punishment for his crimes is a bad thing??? What a
fruitloop this lady is.
Ooh, one too many spoonfuls of cocopuffs.
I'm willing to bet that they already have and are eagerly awaiting the
seventh book. Too bad JKR isn't intending to write 13 books, then Laurie
"the fruitloop" Mallory (that's got a catchy ring to it) would have a
stronger case :-)
Hmmm, perhaps she should check out her kids bible and make sure it's
not really a disguised Harry Potter book.
And Hermionr did sayeth, Yea, Thee who readeth of Hogwarts, A History,
will knoweth the truth and attain massive amounts of knowledge.
