:
: Cauldrons come in all sizes, from children's school cauldrons to the
: kind you need to stir with an oar. He clearly had time to brew up a
: batch before taking over as Moody in the first place. No doubt he did
: this at his father's house, with Imperiused-Daddy providing the super-
: sized cauldrons, the ingredients, and a safe room/house to work. So
: "Moody" might have brewed up a years supply in advance. He has at
: least one whole ROOM inside that trunk of his, where he hid the real
: Moody, so he has plenty of storage space. If that was not quite
: possible, he could certainly have been supplemented over the year: LV,
: Wormtail, or Crouch Sr. could have provided him with additional
: Polyjuice brewed up at the Crouches or the Riddles or in a handy
: deserted tomb, or wherever.
As I recall the text of GOBLET specifically states that
Crouch Jr. kept Moody alive and took cuttings from his
hair over time because he had to KEEP making fresh Polyjuice
Potion.
(So every gulp one takes,is effective for EXACTLY one hour?)

The World Trade Center towers MUST rise again,
at least as tall as before...or terror has triumphed.
The book hints at the fake mad eye raiding snapes office for potion
ingreadeants. When Snape blaims harry Harry thinks snape is talking about the
time from book two, but the talk between snape and filch when harry dropped the
egg points to it being done that year as well. I think Crouch jr even admits
to it but I don't remember for sure.
As to the size of each batch that can be made we don't know. There may be a
max size or there might not. But that flask can also be magiced to hold more
then a normal flask. And crouch jr only has to take the potion when he is in
public. When he is in his office he can lock the door. If some one knocks on
the door then he takes the potion and changes before anssering the door. Most
likely it was around six or seven hours a day. but that is still a lot of
potion.
The other thing to remember about potions is that we often see them makeing
batches only to take one or two drafts and then vanash the rest. Rather
waistfull over all. I always wounderd why HG at least didn't bottal the rest
for later use.
