Ron and Hermione have been romantically involved since 4th year. They
just haven't admitted it to themselves yet. This rather 'echoes' James
and Lily who had the same kind of antagonistic relationship until 7th year.

They are definately *emotionally* involved--which I consider more serious
than "romantically involved"--by the end of book 6.

And I agree with Harry's reasoning that he should form any attachments
until Voldemort is dead. I doubt it will work out that way, but it's
the right idea.

NOT!
Dumbledore has said many times that Harry's strength is from love, and
how better to have love than to have a romantic attachment to Ginny? It
would probably be even stronger were the connection sexual as well as
emotional.

Sorry but what does sex really have to do with love? Same goes for a
romance. Percy and Penelope had a romance in CoS but they definately
did not really love each other or we would have come across Penelope
after Percy had left Hogwarts. Lily saved Harry by her love and that
was definately not sexual love. In fact Harry leaves Ginny BECAUSE he
loves her. He wants to avoid to endanger her by his actions. Real love
means bringing sacrifices ( see Lily). It is something that is out for
giving without asking, it is selfless. Sex is never selfless. What
will kill Voldemort is true, deep love, not sex or romance. Oh, and
for the pairing: Look at Lily and James ( a beautiful woman with long
red hair....)......I think that´s enough anyway, not mentioning that
there were plenty of hints to this pairing before.
