Fortuantely, Daniel didn't choose this role because he needed to eat.
He chose this role because good actors must be able to portray all
kinds of characters, including people who are not meant to be good
role models. He wants to demonstrate that he can play a character who
is not at all like Harry Potter. If all actors insisted on playing
good guys, who would play the bad guys? Siince Jason Isaacs is so
good at playing bad guys, does this necessarily imply that he is a bad
person?

I wonder what these people would say if Disney decided to
make a toon movie where all the characters smoke. Heck, they are
making money; if you like it, dont see the movie?!

That is one of many reasons that kids have parents. While I do think
that adults should behave when children are around, it is up to
parents to make sure that when adults let down their hair, the kids
aren't around. When the Disney company makes a film aimed at
teenagers or adults, they do not market it as a Disney film. That
represents a little bit of corporate responsibility to make up for the
tendency of some lazy parents to think a disney movie is okay even if
they haven't previewed it.

I do have some concern about the lazy parents whose little angels are
requesting that they take them to this play about Harry Potter and the
Horsies. When I read about 10 year olds in the theater who admit to
knowing nothing else about the play, I do wonder about the parents. I
suspect that the promoters were hoping they would see the publicity
shots of Naked Dan and Harry Puffer and realize that this isn't for
kids.
