occlumense (sp?) so I am going to make a mild prediction that Harry wil at
least approach his Potions Professor with the request that he teach him
(Harry) how to occlude his mind. After all, who better to teach him that
they guy who most likely tought both Tom Riddle and Severus Snape? Hence, I
have a feeling that Horace Sulghorn will be Harry's first mentor in book
seven. Next in line will most likely be Lupin because, even though it will
be reluctantly, he will escort Harry, Ron and Hermione to Godric's Hollow.
The reason I suggest this stems from the fact that neither Harry, Ron nor
Hermione have ever been there. I have a feeling that this scene will alseo
serve as a form of closure for Remus. He may also promise James and Lily
that he will do everything in his power to help Harry (even though he will
not even know what Harry is going to be doing. I don't know how long Lupin
will be involved in this book because Harry will want to ditch him as soon
as possible. Thus, Remus will be Harry's second mentor. And finally, as
much as I don't like the guy, I have a feeling that Snape will be Harry's
third mentor in book seven. It will be a veery rocky relationship, given
their history, but the will work together because Harry needs the
information only Snape can provide. If I might be so bold, one of the first
things Snape will have to explain to Harry, in order to gain his trust, is
why Dumbledore trusted him so much.
Nedless to say, the scene between Harry, Ron, Hermione and Snape will be an
interesting one. I am thinking that in oder for the teens to allow him to
speak Snape will have to lay down his wand.
