<snippage>The four hallows of the Tuatha de Danaan were developed in later
traditions to be:
1. The Pole of Combat;
2. The Sword of Light;
3. The Cauldron of Cure;
4. The Stone of Destiny.
'Annwn' also being associated with those of the Tuatha de Danaan:
1. The Sword which is Broken;
2. The Spear of the Dolorous Blow;
3. The Dish (to process the Head of the Withdrawn Grail Guardian);
4. The Grail (Sacred Chalice / Cauldron of Plenty & Inspiration).
Today The Hallows can be seen to exist in modern regalia;
1. The Sceptre (Rod of Equity and Mercy);
2. The Sword of State;
3. The Ampulla of Holy Oil;
4. The Crown.
This the translates into the 4 Founders' Objects. The Sword of
Gryffendor, Cup Of Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw's Wand and Slytheirn's
Locket.
While I am a strong proponent of the idea that there will be
a Ravenclaw item, and that it will prove to be a wand, I think
that it is still speculation; there is no unchallengeable statement
in the book about a Ravenclaw wand. There is only my assumption
that the old wand that was in Olllivander's window was Ravenclaw's,
and that it is an important item, more important than the latest
model of broom displayed in the broom shop's window.
