This just doesnt really make sense. Love can't kill. I think that lovea

psychological
trick. Maybe harry will win because his ability to love somehow leads
him
a solution that LV cant see because of his lack of love. These are just
guesses. But he CANT kill LV with love.
Really? But remember the Quirrel/Voldy - it was his mother's love that
killed him. Not a spell, not violence, but Harry's mother's love in his
skin.
(Which, thinking about it, does make the idea expressed earlier in this
thread make sense: the love trapped the horcrux on the outside in the scar
rather than being inside Harry.)

Maybe, but I'm not so sure. I might need to re-read that scene. But the way
I understand it, The love burned quirrel, but it didnt kill him. It just
made it unbearable for LV to stay, so he had to leave Quirrels body. Quirrel
then died, because after being possessed for so long, he was unable to live
(like the snakes that V had previously possessed). If it wasnt for that, i
think he could have survived a burn. After all, people survive third degree
burns in the muggle world, and wizards have been known to outlive much
worse. I dont think the love killed quirrel, and it obciously didnt kill LV,
but only forced him to leave his host. People have mentioned that the Love
somehow was killing LV in the Ministry scene, but in that case, too, it just
forced LV to end a possession, not to die.
