Hi All,

Just a thought...

Given that:

1 Rowling, though not directly involved in the movies, was consulted
on what plot points MUST be included to tell the entire story.

2 The movies, though not strictly canon, do contain those plot points
that are necessary for the whole story.

In the sorting of Harry, Hermoine, Ron, and Draco, the only...and I mean
the ONLY...student shown in the sorting that wasn't a main character
was Susan Bones.

I wonder significance, if any, does this play.

The significance was that the girl playing Susan Bones was Columbus'
daughter.

In fact, wasn't she the only non-British actress to have played a British
role in a Harry Potter film?
