Given that:
1 Rowling, though not directly involved in the movies, was consulted
on what plot points MUST be included to tell the entire story.
2 The movies, though not strictly canon, do contain those plot points
that are necessary for the whole story.
In the sorting of Harry, Hermoine, Ron, and Draco, the only...and I mean
the ONLY...student shown in the sorting that wasn't a main character
was Susan Bones.
I wonder significance, if any, does this play.
Well, that was a letdown.
A pox on nepotism.
