Ummm...Congratulations?
I just wanted to say that as Aaron seems to be convinced that Catherine
is all alone on the newsgroup.
I see. Actually, the problem Catherine and I are having is that I'm
convinced that most women don't enjoy guy-on-guy action, in any real,
sexual sense, while she (if I have understood her correctly) is sure
that most women do enjoy guy-on-guy action, in some sexual sense or
other.
Recall, the initial objections from Catherine were over the use of the
word "most." I (and I'm sure others as well) fully realize this is not
resolved by one or two more women piping up and saying what they find
hot about...scenes...involving men.
If that means Aaron wins the debate, so be it.
Believe it or not, I'm so not interested in this concession, at this
point.
And, Aaron, I can't give you a yaoi link because yaoi's not my thing,
but here's a link to a jpeg that's just about tame enough for a
newsgroup, hot enough for me, has certain realistic qualities - and is
even on topic for the newsgroup.
Catherine, you may have seen it before.

Ok, so you didn't call this "guy-on-guy action," but I'm assuming you
are implying that you would call it that. Karnak made a similar point
when she discussed the sensuality of scenes between Superman and Lex
Luthor in Smallville. And yes, despite being a borderline homophobe, I
can see and feel the sexual tension in this picture, and it is pretty
nifty, actually.
That being said, if you're going to call everything "guy-on-guy
action," as long as there are guys involved, that defeats the entire
purpose of giving it a name. At some point, it just becomes normal
interactions between two men, with no implied sexual attraction for one
another whatsoever.
You know this wasn't what we meant. You know it isn't even close to
what we meant. If "most women" didn't like guys talking to each other,
well, I can't imagine what a strange, upsetting world we would be
living in.
