I'm afraid Helena that the whole reason for insisting on EVIL or NOT EVIL
is to encourage sitters to come off the fence. Note that just because (in
my opinion) Snape is not evil, that still doesn't make him a nice guy.
It seems to me that if you believe Snape works for the Order, and
in that case he killed because Dumbledore begged him to (or possibly
the whole incident was faked) then the EVIL argument just crumbles.
