"Cathedral: Don't want to rune the ending, but will we be finding out
more about the significance of the shape of Harry's scar in future
books?
JK Rowling replies -> The shape is not the most significant aspect of
that scar, and that's all I'm going to say!"

Hmm, what can she be referring to? maybe the significance is that the
scar is the source of all the LV powers in harry!

THere are LOTS of possibilities here. JKR said the shape is not the most
significant part of the scar - which means that we have mor to learn
other than ParcelTongue and the communication connection.

but if what she says doesn't imply that the signicance of the scar is
that it provides harry with Parceltongue and is the source of the
mental connection with LV then why do you think her comment means "that
we have mor to learn other than ParcelTongue and the communication
connection." ?

"I chose the lightning bolt because it was the most plausible shape for
a distinctive scar. As you know, the scar has certain powers, and it
gives Harry warnings. I can't say more than that, but there is more to
say."

Hmm what does she mean by "the scar has certain powers AND it gives
Harry warnings" ???? -as far as I know, all we know is that the scar
gives harry warnings in the form of pain. what powers is she on about?
maybe she slipped up and frogot that we don't know that harry's scar is
the source of LV's powers!

We do know about one - Harry speaks Parceltongue - since he wasn';t
taught that - had to get it from Riddle.

but we don't know, from the books, that harry's slytherin traits have
anything to do with his scar. all we know is that LV accidentally
transfered some powers into harry the night the AK rebounded. but, IMO,
JKR's comments above indicate that harry's LV powers are in his scar,
and for me that means his scar is the likely horcrux suspect and not
him himself...

Except - the one thing we do not know about a Horcrux is if it transfers powers to its host or not. Harry - presumably - has a complete., undivided soul. That leaves no place for the fragments to "get in".
OF course - I still believe that Harry is NOT a Horcrux. That means that the scar is not a soul bit at all - but it is what transered the power from Riddle to Harry.
