only scabs don't occur immeditaly after an injury do they? they occur
once the healing process has started if i remember correctly... besides
i don't think harry's Scar is the same sort of scar you or I might get
when we scrape our knees...
When we first see Harry (book 1 chapter 1) he is described as having
"a curiously shaped cut, like a bolt of lightning"
though Dumbledore talks about the boy having that scar forever, he must
be referring to a scar which will soon be forming, not already there.
