Perhaps you have noticed that I never employ a smiley, but only pillory
them.

When, 20 years ago, I was faced with the dilemma of the insepid smiley
or being mistaken for posting insulting comments, I seized my keyboard
and slashed the Gordian knot.

With a little consciencious effort, you too can never be mistaken for
posting insulting comments.
