What about the Bible?

Yes; I haven't read anything in the Bible that contradicts anything
I have learned from science. Can you think of anything?
God created the universe and the earth. No, wait, it was the big bang
and the rotation of a massive, gaseous, spiral cloud. God created
life. No, wait, it was a lightning bolt into primordial soup. God
created man. No, wait, we evolved from apes.
Jesus existed, and was the son of God. No, wait, how can God exist in
the first place? How was he created?
Honestly, you see *no* contradictions at all? I don't have a problem
with religious people who believe in evolution, etc., but there *are*
conflicts.

There are 2 places where most people thing there are major contradictions
between the Bible and Science... evolution and miracles.
How did life begin? How did life begin on earth. How do we have anything?
Was it always here? These you will find are more of a matter of History than
Science. Science and written history are both useful in trying to answers
these questions.
Now to your question of God. "No, wait, how can God exist in the first
place? How was he created?
Honestly, you see *no* contradictions at all? I don't have a problem with
religious people who believe in evolution, etc., but there *are*
conflicts."
The problem is there are conflicts and contradictions with both views. If
you believe that there was a God who always was and you try to think "how
can that be?" you'll get a headache and think it doesn't make sense. If you
don't believe in God... you have 2 choices... 1. Matter [everything that is]
was ALWAYS here and not created. But how can that be? If you get a headache
thinking how can there always be a God you'll also get the same headache how
could there always been matter? Either way we have the same headache.
The other choice is that we believe that there was nothing and at some point
matter can into being.... as you see it doesn't help.
So as far as History.... where does matter comes from or where do God comes
from we all have the same conflict no matter what our worldview is.
There are several notes other have written but rather than repeating the
same answer 6 times I'll put it here and hopefully the other writers will
find it.
Are there contradictions in the Bible with itself? If you read the Bible
yourself you most likely wouldn't find one maybe a couple... if you search
the web for Bible contradictions [where people work hard to find
contradictions] you will find a few dozen. I read most of the
"contradictions" and some are silly and some looks like a real
contradiction. I have the same problem with Science. In fact I find much
more conflict and contradictions. Do I give up on Science then? This is why
I ask "What contradictions have you read...". If you don't want to believe
in the Bible or God that's fine. If you want to believe that those who
believe the Bible and/or in God AND believe in Science... that they are
filled with conflict, dishonesty and contradictions and those who have a
worldview without God has no conflict or apparent contradictions....
Thanks for your note.
