Indeed I am. She has once more insisted on displaying to the world her inability to keep her own world consistent (and not just because of the Potter relation there, though I wouldn't be terribly surprised if it turned out that there was something to it -- it would be self-
contradictory in the extreme, but that's what she does so well).


A little credit though. I was perusing the HP Lexicon and it occurred to me how vast and brilliant the entire Harry Potter world is. Consider all the wizarding places, people, spells, creatures, the magical history JKR created, most of it from scratch... It is a lot to keep up with, so I wouldn't be too harsh if, for charity, she penned something that turned out inconsistent.

I do agree with you about the Potter relations. I am surprised she missed something so obvious, unless, like you say, there is much more to the story.
