Question about death of James and Lily

I have been reading yesterday's posts and have a question, comment,
whatever. James was in another room and yelled at Lily to get Harry and
run. They thought they were deeply hidden. Is it possible they had become
a bit relaxed? It was stated that Voldemort could go up and look in their
windows and never see/find Lily and James. The only way to find them was
for their secret keeper to willingly tell.

Could she have apparated Harry along with herself? I don't remember reading
anything that states one could touch someone else, like a whitelighter in
Charmed can.
