Snape heard the last part of the prophecy, when the first is repeated.
It is only in the middle that the making equal part is said.

i don't think Dumbledore would have planned events in order to help
make the prophecy true, i think he just saw that it did come true.

Here you are contradicting JKR, in interview she said that Lily didn't
know her sacrifice would save harry's life
