interpretation.
Will seems to place a higher value on truth than what might or might
not be. He seems to be biased in that he seems to value evidence more
than internal speculation and intuition.

Of course, The truth or reality, is Independent of what WE believe.
Our particular beliefs about what reality and it's nature is has NO
effect on the veracity of what reality actually is.
I do not believe in God, but such an entity could exist.
The point here is that people in this world have different approaches
of determining exactly What that truth actually is.
Will seems to prefer clear evidence, whereas the witch goes off of her
own internal perceptions to determine reality. This event seemed to be
a dig at those who favor that latter approach.
And so (I'm taking liberties here) Will laments that one should not
base beliefs off our own internal biases and wants or what WE consider
possible, but rather something more objective, like the TRUTH! (in
wills estimation, based off harder evidence)
