A brief introduction

I've been testing the waters the last few days and you seem like a decent
bunch. No, really!

I'm not new to usenet but I've been away for some time. I used to post a bit
on rec.arts.drwho some years ago until it was overrun with trolls. They
eventually got together a moderated group but it couldn't recapture the
magic the old one had. So it goes.

I'm quite the newbie to the Harry Potter books having only started reading
them in July of this year after the release of HBP. I figured I liked the
movies well enough that I might as well get over my dislike of the cover art
and read them all straight through. Twice. My copies have post-its sticking
out all over the outer margins, because the inner margins would make it very
hard to close the book.

Lemme see, what do you need to know?

I am a staunch supporter of Severus Snape. Even as he is in the books. :) I
do not believe he is at all guilty of what he appears to have done because I
believe strongly that *spoiler* is alive.

However, I greatly enjoy reading the opposing views because they often help
me either to solidify my own theories or to discard the utterly silly ones.

So anyway, hi!
