Enjoy your "family time"!

How do you account for Dumbledore's story that when Snape learned
Voldemort was going to take out the Potters, he felt "great remorse"?
If Snape was lying at this point (and fooled Dumbledore) what was his
motive? If you don't discount the story, either 1) Snape hated James,
but did not really want him dead, or, he did not want Lily dead. The
second would suggest a motive to hate Voldemort...

Is Peter Snape's slave? Or is Peter spying on Snape? (Well, he clearly
is spying on Snape...what I really mean is, has Voldemort *instructed*
Peter to spy on Snape?)

This is an interesting point in any case and could certainly be a
reason that attracted Snape to the DEs in the first place.

This certainly gives Snape a reason to stay on Dumbledore's side
between the first fall of Voldemort and his return. However, Snape
(apparently) went over the DD's side before anyone had any idea that
Voldemort would be defeated...
