JKR: Well, I'm prepared to bet you now, that at least before the week is out, at least one of the Horcruxes will have been correctly identified by careful re-readers of the books.

of course, we haven't seen that many lockets in the books so far, so if the horcrux is the locket we saw in Grimauld Place, then the number of possibilities for who R.A.B. is will be greatly reduced. It could still be one or both of Sirius's parents, though.
Also, it was either magic_mom or another user who told us that Rowling has said no new major characters will be introduced in the last book.
Well, but is it really a new character if it's someone who's been dead for a while? Don't get me wrong, I firmly believe that R.A.B. is Regulus, but that's irrelevant. My point is just that our guess is probably just as good as any of the translators'.
Don't quote me on this information, I've not read the interview transcripts, I'm just telling it like I've heard it ;-)
