Except we've SEEN her make mistakes in the books. She's ADMITTED to it.
Remember Marcus Flint, who apparently went to Hogwarts for 8 years?
It's not like saying she's made mistakes that actually end up in the books
is any groundshaking idea. She, herself, has admitted to it.

Marcus Flint does, though.

Where is he saying that...?

What issue? Getting all her numbers right? Except we know that's not
true, or Marcus Flint, referred to as a 6th year in the first book, would
not have been in the third book. (fyi: Later version of PS/SS change
Flint to being a fifth year. But Jo herself had admitted to the goof).
