Not even close. The LCD projection panels used in PROJECTION HDTVs have resolutions of 1920x1080 in a physical size of just over one-inch (that gets projected on a 40" to 120" screen).
There is no problem getting resolutions much higher than 1024x600 in sizes way under 10 inches.
