Have you tried to run a bare bones system, no Artic Cooling and unplug both
of your DVDs, just to check if it will boot.
Go back to basics with the OEM fan and try to eliminate as much as possible,
maybe the cause is one of your periphals.
Also, I've had 2 occasions that I had to unplug the 110 volt power cord and
hold the power on button for few seconds to clear the memory. When I tried
this simple procedure everything was back to normal.
Other than an occasional lock up a few minutes after boot everything has ran
flawlessly on my Extreme motherboard. The locks started when I installed a
second PNY 8800GT video card in SLY mode. I just deal with it, no big deal.

Sorry but I should have added detail. Asus Striker Extreme, Intel Q6600
B3, Artic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro, Corsair Twinx DDR2 800 Ram, Hd2900 XT ATI
vga card, two DVD-RWs and 1 500GB HDD, 4 USB ports including the rear ones
and finally the onboard sound card.
