O.T. Plextor CD burning and WinXP??

Greetings All,

I have a Plextor PlexWriter 8/20 SCSI and want to make a backup copy of a Data CD. Plextor does not have software that supports WinXP...EZ CD Creator, PlexManager 2000. Is my cd writer a paper weight without purchasing any new recording software? Any good cd imaging freeware available?

Any help is greatly appreciated.
