Re: A7N8x-x Bios Checksum failed - help

Somewhere on teh interweb Bill typed:
I tried to flash my bios from 1006 to 1010 and had a problem with the
floppy which corrupted the bios and wont let me boot or get to the
settings. I've tried to use a floppy in the drive to let the boot
block program run awdflash.exe but it seems like the system just
spins the floppy but never tries to read it. I've reset the cmos by
pulling the battery and moving the jumper but still no go. Anyone
have any suggestions??

If I can get access to an eeprom reader can I pull the eeprom from the
socket and reprogram it like that using the bios bin file or will I
need some other file and where can I get it if I do.

Help.

Bill

Did you try booting with the driver CD in the drive, set to boot CD first?
There's a chance that there's a (n early) BIOS version on the CD that will
flash.

Luck..
