since my 4 years old PC has become defective, I'll probably have to get a
new one. When looking for MBs, I came across the ASUS boards for socket
775, and from the description on their homepage I realize that they don't
have any ATA/IDE connectors - like e.g. the P5K Premium/WiFi-AP, and others.
However, I would like to migrate one of my IDE-HDs from the old system to
the new one - so this is not possible with ASUS boards?
Can anyone let me know whether I am right?
Thanks and regards,

It is possible. You need to get an IDE controller in adition.
Persoanny I have made good experiences with the Promise
Ultra 133TX2, shich is also cheap.
