I would HIGHLY recommend that you consider waiting until January for your
change over, when Vista SP 1 will be available.

Currently have Win XP Professional running using a P5B Deluxe MB. I have
two Raid 0 Arrays set up using two SATA drives in each Array. Everything
works just fine. Why I want to upgrade to Vista is a good question but
some things you just have to do. I do have clean install of Vista Premium
running on another system using a plain old SATA drive and it works as
advertised. Anyway, has anyone installed Vista Home Premium over Win XP
Professional. I have Googled the thought and it seems like I have to do a
clean install or go buy the Vista Ultimate version. Assuming I must do a
clean install what issues will I run into with the harddrives set up as
Raid Arrays? I have seen the Intel instructions
http://www.intel.com/support/chipsets/imsm/sb/CS-025783.htm and it looks
like I have to pull some files off the Vista setup cd so that it can
install on the Raid drives? Am I correct or am I missing something? All
thoughts and experiences would be appreciated before I start down the
path.
