Does it sound like an USB controller problem or a problem more specific toA7N8X
the wireless adapter driver and how it works with Vista running on an
motherboard?
Is it possible for me to use motherboard Asus USB driver updates for
motherboards other than the A7N8X i.e. is it possible that a later
motherboard USB driver will be compatible with A7N8X?
Vista will install the drivers for this board and it should work fine (why
you would want to use vista is another question)..
if you can use 1 device, but it bails on 2..
try using 2 really low power devices, so possibly just printer connected
(not printing) and pda(as long as it doesnt charge via usb)..
It's possible that the usb lines just dont have the current to deal with all
the shit you want to connect, a power'd hub could be your solution.
Also note that it's easy to connect the front panel connectors wrong, and
that a LOT of people had trouble with usb2.0 connections on this mobo...
.
