Hello, I'm Andrea from Italy.
In my PC I use a P5B motherboard and I have a problem: when I turn off my PC
from Win XP the PC turns off but the mother board doesn't... I'd need it to
power off because I have an USD device (a 500GB disk, WD MyBook) that can't
power off itself because the USB is always powered on.
Is there a way (setting something in the BIOS) to make the motherboard turn
off at 100% when I power off the PC from XP?
Thanks and regards
Andrea
The USB ports are supplied with +5V as default so that the USB ports
can wake the computer up from sleep mode.
Look for 3-pin jumpers USBPW1234, USBPW5678 and USBPW 910 on the
motherboard, currently pins 1 and 2 are jumpered, change this to pins
2 and 3.
