Hi there,
Is there anyway I can stop the J Micron screen appearing at boot up I do
not use Raid on this MB 4 x SATA drives and a DVD writer on the IDE port
but haven't found a way of disabling this on boot up it just points to
my DVD writer and then continues to boot into Vista?
Is there not an option to disable the JM controller in the BIOS?

Hi there,
If I disable the JMicron SATA/PATA controller in the BIOS then I loose my
DVD writer which is attached to the single Primary IDE port on the MB.
So not sure if there is another way to disable it?
Oops, sorry - I should have thought of that! It might be worth entering
the JMicron BIOS screen and seeing if the message can be disabled
there. I don't have a P5B system at hand ATM to test that, but that's
the method you'd use on an embedded Adaptec SCSI controller, for
example.
Cheers,
