The very first thing I would do is put in a new/fresh battery. Bios'
not holding their settings is often the case of a weak/bad CMOS
battery. I've seen them be bad right out of the box. I'd change it in
any case if it is a KTS battery. Those are the ones I've had the most
failures with.
