Can someone please give instructions for setting up 4 SATA devices(2 HDs in
a RAID0 config with 1 DVD Reader and 1 DVD Writer) and one PATA HD?

The PATA is just going to be by itself, the only raid is the SATA HDs.

Yes do that. The ICH7R ports have faster burst speed times. I have
checked that for myself. The EZ_RAID ports run through port 2, and port 2
can be reclaimed by doing as you say, as well as turning the option ROM
for EZ_RAID off in the BIOS (or soemthing, I forget - check the Asus
forums)


Just one question, I have two SATA DVD drivers (one reader and one
burner, would putting them on the Intel 3 and 4 ports cause any issues?
