Tell us again, what memory configuration you are using. If you are
using four sticks, that is a big mistake. The config you want, is
just two sticks, like 2x1GB. You should have less trouble running
at high speed with that. (Four sticks loads the address busses,
and is just asking the computer to downshift to DDR333.)
I have the A8N-SLI Premium and later BIOS revisions do force DDR333 with 4
sticks by default. However, I have no trouble setting the memory clock
speed manually in the BIOS to override that. I will note though that since
I'm overclocking my X2 4200 I had to increase the core voltage to get my
system stable with 4 sticks. The OP should also manually set the HT to x4
with a CPU frequency of 240.
