In other words, run windows update to download service pack 1.

Windows XP, before Service pack one could only access 137GBs, (works out
to about 127GB after formatting).
Have you tried updating your Windows XP?

when installing XP pro, after first reboot, windows corrected files on
attached SATA drive (250GB). Now I have correct partition size (NTFS),
but incorrect disk size (only 128 GB) and almosy all files are
unusable. How to get back to previous state (correct file structure)?
