Hi, I'm new to DDR2 world and don't know what to buy.
Should I buy the fastest timing 3-3-3-12 ?
I'm lost between Pc5400, Pc6400, pc7200, pc8000 ?
If I understand correctly the new Intel chipset could operate memory
at 800mhz so I should choose at least pc6400 ??
thanks for any input
Which ASUS P5W motherboard? Regardless, it pays to visit the
ASUS website for their latest information on the manufacture,
type/model of RAM that is recommended.
I bought two 2-gig packs of OCZ DDR2800 platinum memory and one pack
is PC4200 (says CPU-Z) and the other pack is PC5200 (again, says
CPU-Z). Don't know what to make of that. After I conclude my Maxtor
MaxLine III harddrive fiasco, I'll pursue this with OCZ.
