Hi again,

Ok, i've tried cleaning every bit of the connectors and such. No luck, though - the static persist. I've tried 3 sets of headphones and 2 sets of speakers. They all do the same thing. I have nothing else connected to the card. It's all a little weird. :)

I dug out an old soundcard and installed it, and that works just fine. Though not as good as the onboard, it will have to do until i buy a new card.

Alas... thanks for trying, though. :)
