a8n-vm CSM with athlon 64 3700 @ 2200



I am running windows XP pro on a8n-vm CSM with athlon 64 3700 @ 2200, 2 Gb
of ram, 3 Seagate barracuda SATA NCD drives in Raid 5, 1 Seagate Sata II in
separate array, DVD-multiformat writer, Symantec client security, office
XP and .net 2 studio. I found the system performs with lots of Processor
power left over most of the time. however, it does have reliability
problem.

the Widows XP Pro system have been corrupted twice mysteriously. The system
is not being overclocked.
the Microsoft memory tests consistently show up failure for stride 38
patterns in almost every single pass with striking similar pattern ( the
last
5 digits of address are the same)

with ecc correction enabled and scrub enabled:

So ECC scrubing and cache scrub only help cut down the fequency of error
but not enough..

Question, is it the RAM, cache, Processoer or motherboard that is the
problem?
