Logitech MX5000 Cordless Desktop Keyboard / Mouse /SetPoint & PC-DL Deluxe issues?

Has anyone had any problems with the Logitech MX5000 Bluetooth keyboard and
MX1000 Laser Mouse combo with the PC-DL Deluxe motherboard?

I used the mouse/keyboard on its own without loading the Logitech SetPoint
software for a few days with no apparent issues.

I then installed the Logitech SetPoint software and updated it to the latest
version as instructed during installation.

After installing SetPoint my computer will not perform a warm boot - if I
try and restart Windows it hangs at the POST screen and I have to power off
the computer and perform a cold start.

Also - and this is a strange one - if I fire up iTunes 6 with the Media key
on the keyboard I am limited to ripping CD's at a maximum bitrate of
160kbps!

My preferences are set to 192kpps but if I use the Media key to launch
iTunes it only rips at 160kbps - even if I reset the preferences to 192kbps
it doesn't stick - I open them and it has defaulted back down to 160kbps.

If I use the mouse/desktop to launch iTunes then all is well - it stays set
to 192kbps and rips without any issues at this bitrate.

This is repeatable and only happens after I have installed the SetPoint
software without a firewall and even before I installed NAV2006 etc.

System;

Asus PC-DL Deluxe BIOS 1009
Dual Xeon 3.06GHz
Corsair 2GB RAM
nVidia Quadro4 980 XGL AGP graphics card
5 x 250GB Western Digital HDD
Windows XP SP2 installed on a freshly formatted hard disk

Logitech have been no help on this issue and after a couple of weeks now
tell me;

"this is a one in isolation case and mostly noticed with specific
motherboard and we really do not have any specific solution for it."

Has anyone noticed any similar issues?

Thanks & regards,
