Re: A8N-E Support CD

Many thanks;

I also had a reply from ASUS support the day after I asked the question
stating that the CD was OK and something saying that I did not need the SATA
Drivers?? Written in broken English but I was impressed with the speed of
the reply!!

Hi
I just bought an A8N-E Motherboard opened the box and found inside the
A8N-E User Guide an A8N-SLI series Support CD Rom Rev.99.06.

Is this the correct CD?
Is the A8N_E an SLI Motherboard?

I have heard of some problems with this Mobo and SATA, I will be setting
up this systems with a Maxtor SATA II drive. I read that I should update
the BIOS and use Drivers from the ASUS Web Site.

Any info on both the above would be greatfully received.
