A8N SLI-Deluxe & External SATA enclosure

I have a NexStar eSATA enclosure with this motherboard and the drive
keeps disconnecting (after read/write failure messages). Strangely
enough though, I've run the same drive off the same controller (the SI
3114 one) with no problem....but once I used the NexStar external case
I have issues. The case works fine in a PC belonging to the retailer
where I purchased it though. Anyone run into THIS issue?
