Hello,

I have a system with an A8N-SLI Deluxe motherboard ....
running Windows XP Pro with SP2 .....It has 5 internal
harddrives, 1 IDE and 4 SATA .....One of the Sata's is
the boot drive (C:) a WDC 73gb Raptor ....the other three
Satas are a 300gb Maxtor, and two 500gb Hitachi's.
The IDE drive is a 250gb Maxtor. This system has a 650
watt powersupply, and two internal DVDRW's ....it has
NO floppy drive. I have recently updated the BIOS to 1016.
It has an AMD Dual Core 4200+ cpu, and 4gb of ram, which
show up correctly in the bios (even tho only 2.75 gb show up
in windows)

For the most part, the system is running fine ... booting
fine, reading&writing to the harddrives fine ... if I boot from
a bootable cd (such as true image) it recognizes the harddrives
fine.

Just a few quick questions.
As you already use True Image why don't you just install one of your back
ups?
You did make a back up of your system "as advised" before you flashed the
Bios didn't you?
Why did you need to upgrade the Bios?

Now back to True Image.
Its the first app I add to any system I build.
I image the clean install of XP and then make incremental backups along the
way to a backup drive.
Any major changes "like Bios upgrades" are never performed till after I have
imaged the Windows drive.
If at any point in the future a problem like yours arises I have the choice
to what point in time I want to return the system to, be it last week or
last year.

I do not see the point of having True Image if you do not use it for what it
was designed for and that is the very situation you are in right now.
