i'm undecided between an abit or asus mobo and which one to get
We are a dealer and have the most experience selling ASUS boards.
i want to get an athlon 64x2 chip
what do you recomend?
What will you be using the computer for?
is pci express better than agp 8?
PCI Express video cards have more potential than AGP ones but
aren't any faster right now. If you are buying a new computer,
then go for PCI Express. If you have an older AGP video card
that you wish to re-use, then there are AGP Athlon 64 motherboards
available (I am using an ASUS A8V).
So are you're saying PCI Express is really only 8x not 16x? Is that because
the speed of the graphics cards never really reached the potential of AGP?
and are running at less then the AGP standard right now? Are there any video
cards available today that surpass the AGP 2.1GB/s bandwidth limits?
.
